At present, Ruyi possesses the total assets of RMB 3.5 billion and more than 10 thousand employees. In 2007, the sales income reached RMB 13.8 billion, with an EBIT of RMB 424 million Yuan and a total import & export volume of USD 438 million. It is a national hi-tech corporation and one of national top 520 corporations, it has a national Technology Centre and Working Station for doctors as well as powerful technologies and innovation advantages, products have been honored with National Gold Prize and National Silver Prize for many times, and it is national new products developing base. “Ruyi” is China famous brand and “Ruyi” products are gained with “Chinese Noted”, and “Key Export Brand” honored by Ministry of Commerce of the Peoples’ Republic of China.
In 1997, Ruyi set foot in the printing and dyeing industry in 1997, which has become by now one of the Group’s three major industrials chains. With the development over more than a decade, its economic growth has been stable at a rate of over 45%. With the annual productivity reaching 350 million meter, it has become one of the largest manufacturers of African figured cloth and with the most complete varieties. Ruyi has national Technology Center and Jining Ruyi Printing and Dyeing Ltd., Yuncheng Shengda Ruyi Printing and Dyeing Ltd. and Jiada Textile Ltd., holds 21 printing production lines, is the first manufacturer that individually research and produce printing products, and outputs and qualities reach the top position in the same trade, Ruyi has own brand and many patents, “Ruyi” figure brand has been registered in 32 countries, perfect and independent sales network has been completed, all products are sold to overseas countries including Africa and Europe and USA.
In recent years, Ruyi has developed the first imitation wax figured cloth mixed with 14 research achievements including “Ruyi veins”. The figured cloth was certified by ISO9001 and ISO14001. Its leading products include over 40 varieties of “Ruyi”, most of which reach international advanced level. “Ruyi” SOSO series rank the first. In 2008 Ruyi Group was honored with China Printing and Dyeing Top Ten by Chinese Printing and Dyeing Committee and confirmed as “Flower Cloth Base For Africa”, all its products cover more and more markets by high quality and full varieties, and owned bronzing imitation wax flower cloth is much salable in African markets. Ruyi has continuously researched new products, from 2000 to 2008 output has increased by 10 times. At present Ruyi Printing and Dyeing is the most great in China and holds 25% of African markets. “Ruyi” imitation wax flower cloth is much salable in Africa, Holland and U.K. and it the first selective material by nobilities and fashionable nations.
1. Production and Operation
The production scale and product brand of printing and dyeing are both in the front row of the industry in China. With excellent quality and low price as well as shorter delivery period, our products are of extremely high competitive advantage in the market. Recently we have used of advanced CAD & CAM systems and computerized colour separation, Colour -Determining Technology, Colour-Harmonizing Technology, laser, wax spraying, ink-jet and screen preparation technique, auto weighing, paste mixing, digital ejecting, and paper transfer print, so we have produced various printing products.
(I) Production Process
(1) Prepare the production plan according to the sales conditions so as to ensure the production as per sales. Production Dept arranges rationally the production plan and material purchase plan according to the conditions of market and order so that all the relevant departments will coordinate with each other for production in an orderly way.
(2) Control the production process and make revision properly to fit for changeable markets.
(3) Analyze the status of production and improve continuously the production procedure for an optimized process.
2. Develop International Markets
Based on the marketing idea of “customer and market foremost”, take part in international communications and develop international channels and sales network to form an international operational mode as soon as possible.
(1) Market Orientation and Marketing Network Building
Competition in domestic and international market becomes increasingly fierce and the classified market of printing and dyeing products has been gradually formed. Ruyi takes different market strategies in African and European & American markets, in Africa products fits for the masses, but in Europe and USA products fit for top market, so Ruyi products hold different customers in overseas markets.
(2) Operate sincerely and establish the cooperative relationship with customers for sharing interests
Ruyi regards customers as a cooperator even a friend, so Ruyi pays attention to create benefits for customers but not only a commercial action, the relationship between Ruyi and customers is solid and beneficial.
(3) Continuous innovative ability
On the basis of classifying the market and by giving play to its relatively strong capability in product development, Ruyi develops many new products every year so as to realize the diversity and differentiation of products. Ruyi is especially competitive in mid and high-class products. Ruyi is a leader in fashionable markets through its continual product development, core technology and independent intellectual properties.
(4) Powerful brand
“Ruyi” is a noted brand in China, in 2006 Ruyi created Bolin Ltd. in Shenzhen that holds over 100 domestic and overseas designers, collects markets information and launches new products into markets by powerful researching and developing abilities.
3. Brand Building
With efforts made over the years, Ruyi is noted at hi-tech and high quality, which is the most important intangible asset. Ruyi will be an international noted brand within three years. Leading products of printing and dyeing series include 24/24*72 real wax, 30/30*68 simulation wax, 32/32*76 real wax, 40/40/96 high density and 30/75 colour cloth, quality is improved greatly and competitive power is increased also.
The brand has value-added ability and is much active, we cooperate with large trading company to build “VIVI WAX” and “NANA BENZ WAX” in Africa.
In China our products are recognized by the public. In 2007 “cotton real wax textiles” and “cotton fiber dyeing textiles” were gained Excellent Innovation Prizes. In the Eighth International Fashionable Material Fair, above two products were praised as 2007 China Excellent Printing Material and honored with “2007 China Excellent Printing Material Corporation”. “Cotton simulation wax printing cloth” was prized with “Excellent Design”, and “Special Simulation Wax Flower Cloth” was prized with “Excellent Design” in 2005 Textile, Color Textile and Printing & Dyeing Products Meeting. Both qualities and technologies are leading in the same trade, and recognized by African customers.
4. Technological Innovation
Development of an enterprise depends on its development of connotation. To maintain an ever-lasting vigor in the increasing changes, the enterprise shall rely on its capability for continual innovation.
Technology Centre of Ruyi was certified as a national technology centre in 1994, it is an innovation base, in 2002 provincial Printing & Dyeing Technology Center was founded that combine both traditional and modern technologies to improve added values of materials, such as nanometer materials, antistatic material, ultraviolet resisting material and environment protection material increase Ruyi’s competitive power in international market.
Over the last three years, Ruyi has had 22 new varieties of products certified as provincial new products, including 10 varieties up to the international standard. “Cotton chitin antibacterial beddings” researched together with Shandong Science & Technology Institute gained “Provincial Science & Technology Progress Level-Three Prize”, and Ruyi cooperated with Donghua University to resolve wax reins, feelings and odor, colophony recycle and other problems.
5. Product Quality
Ruyi pays attention to the team work to ensure the increasing improvement of quality. Against technological difficulties Ruyi makes a list for manufacture, technique, equipment and contract relevant with 56 difficulties and prepare for resolutions, arrange ten QC teams to resolve technological difficulties. In 2007 Quality System and Environment System were combined together, and gained Quality & Environment Management System Certificate of ISO9000:14001 issued by China Quality Certification Centre, involving with all major products, and Ruyi strictly carries out interior quality checking strictly in accordance with the quality management system..
(1) Quality Plan
Hold quality analysis meeting subjected at quality checking, research on customers’ satisfaction and self-evaluation, make evaluation for operating status of quality system, make test for quality management, and designers, quality management team and general manager analyze quality level and difference between domestic and overseas quality levels, as well as establish relevant quality control and improvement measures.
(2) Quality Control
Around the production procedure, establish the critical quality control points for testing and controlling, such as charts and tables.

(3) Optimization and improvement of technical quality in production process
Establish the Quality Improvement System. Improve qualities of processing ability and varieties carried by Quality Team.
(4) Formulate the “Quality Outline” and take part in national QC team appraising, honored with “Excellent QC Team” by China Textile Association
(5) Make control before production, check exterior samples, make special signs, and track in manufacture process.

(1) Post analysis and evaluation system: all employees shall define individual working tasks, responsibilities and qualifications, and recognize post values (corresponding salary level), as well as that what’s position (technology, sales or management) will be promoted.
(2) Organization structure and labor management system: Ruyi designs and improves organization to make decision team, advising team and execution team are much effective, to improve work efficiency and reduce costs.

(4) Perfect training system: Ruyi benefit its growth from continuous education and training for employees, and which will be much important for development of Ruyi.
7. Construction of Social Responsibility System

Ruyi invests annually RMB 3 millions to realize “ten morale projects” and provides over RMB 6 million to resolve lunches for employees every year; has invested over RMB 4 million to increase medical equipments for Employees’ Hospital; has built severe diseases funds; provides grains and cooking oil for employees for free each month since July 2006; created “2006-2010 Ruyi Plan Outline” to perform morale projects gradually. Ruyi has contributed RMB 0.62 million to disaster area. Ruyi Group purchased Jining Printing and Dyeing Factory, Jining Dongli Knitting Group, Dezhou Linyi Aotai Textile Ltd. Wenshang Fenghuang Textile Group, Chongqing Wanzhou Haikang Textile Ltd., Chongqing 3rd Cotton Factory and Shandong Jining Jiada Textile Ltd., resumed tens of billions assets, 15,000 labors returned to posts, and each labor’s salary is about 1,500 each month. Both Ruyi and employees contributed cashes and things to poor families, in 2005 Ruyi was praised as one of Ten Charity Groups in Jining and in 2008 Ruyi contributed funds and things equal to RMB 5 million to Sichuan disaster areas.
